This is something I have done with all of my classes at the end of each Shakespeare unit. It's easily modifiable for use with any play, but the one you will download is made for A Midsummer Night's Dream. The handout is doubled so the student gets a half-page (saves paper), and requires the student to choose a monologue from the play from one of my suggestions, or one of their own choosing (minimum of 15 lines), memorize it, and present it to the class. It describes to the student how he/she will be scored. This is also a great segue into a speech unit!
