PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

All right here a great way to teach Shakespeare to a world history or Language Arts classroom.
I begin by showing clips of "Renaissance Man" w/ Danny Devito to the classes. Look into it on YouTube and see why students love it. Make sure to show the St. Crispins speech part (in the rain) and the rap part. Or you can show in it's entirety.
Follow up with my St. Crispins speech activity/questions
I use this to teach how Shakespeare's characters were so complex. I have a page here tying Julius Caesar (except) to the movie, "Mean Girls." I also show YouTube clip and provide you an excerpt here. Students love it.
End with an assignment that looks at the famous "To Be Or Not To Be..." Great to wrap up and end discussion.
With these activities students analyze and study actual works of Shakespeare making connections to media today. Students loved it.
