Product Description
This is what I use when teaching my applied level kids Romeo and Juliet- I do it with every Shakespeare story I teach, actually!

While doing this, they create a GENIUS study guide for themselves for the end of the play without even realizing it. Students often thank me after for forcing them to do this at the end of reading every scene...it pays off for their tests/exam.

They have to do a Twitter-style summary of each scene - short summary, with a hashtag. Their hashtags are often brilliant - I'll keep a chart of the best ones on the board as a class recap of the events.

TIP - I photocopy this onto coloured paper, as I do with all handouts for the novel study that they have to re-visit. Easier to find, this way, in their binders.
