Product Description
Sweet love, renew thy force; be it not said . . .
The very fact that the poet calls for love to be renewed would seem to suggest that love is not eternal or perpetual. There is a suggestion that love is an even mightier force than a simple comparison with nature. By utilizing the reading on the PowerPoint along with selected activities from the workbook, students can develop their understanding and appreciation of this sonnet. There’s a traditional question and answer task but there are also group activities and challenges to help students explore rhyme, meter and the very conceits that make Shakespeare’s writing so profound.
