Students in my Shakespeare class read a LOT of his sonnets. After we've read and discussed them for a week, we culminate with this partner/group project. Students need to create a narrative with 3 of Shakespeare's sonnets and 1 of their own creation. The 4 can be arranged in any order, and they create visual "artifacts" from the sonnets to tell the story...a "he said/she said" argument, a passionate wooer trying to propose, an increasingly angry woman - whatever story the group wants to tell.
