Students perform background research to deepen their understanding of the Shakespeare Stealer. Although, written specifically for this novel, the project can be easily modified for background research for any Shakespeare Novel Study.
Students research Shakespeare's life, the Elizabethan Era, the theatre-going experience, as well as his other works.
Though a group project, it simulates a real-world cooperative environment where each person has a role in developing the final product.
Students present their findings via whatever method you choose - Google Slides, Powerpoint, Prezi, Poster, etc. Or better yet, let the students choose the method.
A rubric is provided for assessment of the presentation as well as an answer key for the basic questions.
Perfect for use in either Literature or Technology Classes. This was developed as a cross-curricular activity to be accomplished in technology class while aiding the Literature instructor. Specific technology or research objectives may be realized depending on the final project specifications as well as Literature objectives.
