This pack includes a group project, scene questions, vocabulary packets, an assessment, a mini project, and a culminating project for Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.
Group Project - Students work in small groups to research life in the Elizabethan Era and write a script using Shakespearean language. This component comes as a packet for students, a scenario and persona sheet for teachers, and a rubric for the project.
Scene Questions - These questions are excellent for class discussion and homework. These questions ask students to identify and analyze various elements of the comedy. This component comes as separate documents per scene as well as a single document with all questions broken down by scene.
Vocabulary Packets - Two vocabulary packets are included. The first focuses on vocabulary found in Acts I and II, and the second focuses on vocabulary found in Acts III, IV, and V. Both packets include 20 words found on a word list, sentences with context clues for each word, a matching activity, and a crossword. Answer keys are provided for each packet.
Assessment - The assessment includes a variety of questions, including matching, multiple choice, fill in the blank, and short answer. Content includes character identification, historical aspects of the Elizabethan era, vocabulary, and questions on plot and theme. Answer key is provided for assessment.
Mini Project - Students are asked to write Shakespearean lines using emoji.
Culminating Project - Students are asked to choose a character from the play to explore character analysis by writing an autobiography from that character's perspective. This component comes with the assignment overview and a rubric.
