This is a differentiated addition activity intended for use as a math center in a kindergarten or first grade classroom.
•Print the set of cards on cardstock and give each group a different color based on their skill level. Students pick two cards, place them in the first boxes, and act out the problem. I bought themed erasers to use as manipulatives but if you laminate the shamrock mat (page 3), you can have them use a dry erase marker. Students use a dry erase marker to write the answer in the last box.
Optional: I use the recording sheet to hold my students accountable and so I can check their work.
