This St. Patrick’s Day themed math product contains 4 practice pages in which students determine the missing factor in an equation with 3 factors and a product between 10-100. The product is displayed on the middle of a shamrock. Two factors are given on the shamrock leaves, leaving one blank shamrock leaf for the student to fill in with the missing factor. Most of the problems include repeated use of multiplication facts 1 -12, which will build fact fluency, but some of the problems require number sense &/or the use of mental math along with the fact memorization. For example:
4 X 8 X ? = 96
Students start with the 4 X 8 = 32 math fact, then choose a strategy to reach 96 using mental math.
Each of the four pages has 16 shamrock missing factor equations. An answer key is included for your convenience. Please check out the preview to see a sample page- why not add a little St. patrick's Day fun to your math fact practice?
