There are 12 2-D shapes (24 cards) in this free shapes matching game that is for small groups. It's great for use in stations. It can even be used as a School-to-Home Connection resource.
Like all matching games: This game is started by shuffling the cards and laying them in a grid face-down. Students would then take turns flipping two cards over. If they're a match they're taken and if they're not they're flipped back over and returned to their spot. To throw in addition, the students could be asked to tally their score (i.e. the number of pairs they have).
