This adorable little snowman is made of 2D shapes.
This resource includes the templates and tracers needed to make the math craft pictured on the cover. Also included are two differentiated recording sheets. On the first option, students count and record the shapes used to build their snowman. On the second option, students name the shapes used to build their snowman as well as the number of sides and vertices. You may also need construction paper or colored printing paper, glue, scissors, and writing utensils for your students to complete this activity.
This activity aligns with CCSS 2.G.1. It is ideal for students in grades K-2 to review 2D shapes.
Makes a great bulletin board display.
