Your students will love creating this cute owl using circles, ovals, crescents, triangles, and hearts—a total of twelve shapes per owl.
This file includes:
● the outlined owl. On heavy paper or card stock, copy one per student.
● a sheet of shapes needed to build the owl. Copy one sheet per student. You choose whether to duplicate black-and-white shapes your students may color as they wish, or pre-colored shapes, provided in two color schemes: woodland colors or bright “fantasy”
colors (shown in thumbnail above).
● complete instructions.
● one sheet of master shapes, useful in introducing this activity’s shapes to your students.
You simply supply scissors and glue sticks. (If you choose to use the black-and-white version, you’ll also need to supply crayons or markers.) You'll love how quick and easy this art activity is—plus, the completed owls make great classroom decorations or bulletin board decor!
Thanks for taking a look at my product. Please take a minute to check out my other shape activities, plus many other art projects and learning activities—all in my TpT store under my name, Diane McLoud.
