When I started back at school this past September, I wanted to make sure that both my Senior and Junior students learned all the basic shapes. Using these colorful laminated shapes, I taped a large paint stirrer (from Home Depot) to the back of each and now use them daily. Now not only can my students name them, but they are able to describe them by the number of sides and corners. They describe a rectangle as a 4 sided shape with 2
long sides and 2 short ones!
Kids are amazing!
Shapes included are: square, triangle, circle, rectangle, trapezoid, oval, hexagon, pentagon, octagon and rhombus.
