A fun way to encourage students to think about shapes! Students will solve riddles and determine which 2D or 3D shape is being described! Students will write their own shape riddles to stump their friends!

There are two versions of the clip cards- using the language "flat vs solid" and "2D vs 3D."

This center aligns to Common Core Standard: K.G.4

I printed these out quickly for a sub and she used them under the document camera as a whole class activity. Both she and the students loved them. The kids asked for them again the next day and we used them as an activity in line while we waited for the rest of the class.
