A fun and low prep math center to practice identifying and sorting 2D or flat shapes!
Students pick an ice cream scoop and identify the 2D shape on it. They sort the shape to match the cone with the same shape.

This center practices shape identification and comparing shapes that do not look exactly the same.

This center aligns to Common Core Standards: K.G.1 and K.G.2
