This is a step-by-step drawing lesson to teach students about one-point perspective. I use it in my classroom with 4th grade students. It also includes practice with unity and variety, organic/geometric shapes, and allows for personal design choices.
When I teach this lesson, I demonstrate on the whiteboard as students follow the steps on the handout. It is a tried and true introduction to some beginning perspective drawing techniques. One page is the handout, and the second page shows a completed black and white example.
