Do your kids need help recognizing and sorting common shapes? This packet includes triangles, circles, squares, rectangles, trapezoids, hexagons, diamonds and (common kindergarten shapes). I have also provided independent practice pages for your students to use for center work. Great for interactive math notebooks.

B&W versions of activities are included as well. (Cut and Paste Included)

The worksheets include:
♥ Color and Trace – Color the 2D shapes, trace them and then copy the shape names.
♥ 2D Paste and Draw – Trace the 2D shapes, paste the matching picture, draw the shape.
♥ 2D Shape Hunt – Search the classroom for objects that match these 2D shapes.
♥ Rolling 2D shapes – Roll a die, trace the shape, keep going until one of the columns reaches the top.
♥ Color and Count – Color each 2D shape type one color. Count how many there are of each shape.
♥ Shape Sizes – Paste the shapes in size order.
♥ How Many Sides? – Color how many sides each shape has.
♥ 2D Shapes - Count the sides and corners of each 2D shape.
♥ Making Shapes – Color the shapes that make up the larger shapes.
♥ Graphing 2D shapes – Count the shapes and graph them.
♥ Quadrilateral Sorting – Sort the shapes by whether they are quadrilaterals.
♥ All About Circles – Color the shape, trace the shape, find the shape, write the shape name, draw the shape and count the sides/corners.
♥ All About Triangles – Color the shape, trace the shape, find the shape, write the shape name, draw the shape and count the sides/corners.
♥ All About Squares – Color the shape, trace the shape, find the shape, write the shape name, draw the shape and count the sides/corners.
♥ All About Rectangles – Color the shape, trace the shape, find the shape, write the shape name, draw the shape and count the sides/corners.
♥ All About Pentagons – Color the shape, trace the shape, find the shape, write the shape name, draw the shape and count the sides/corners.
