Print these pages and use them to create a class book for each shape.
Brainstorm ideas about items that look like a circle, such as a pancake, clock, or a CD.
As students illustrate the item they chose, you write the name of the object on lined paper for your student to copy on the blank lines of the circle page. They also trace the dotted letters.
Bind pages together to create a class book. Create a cover out of construction paper.
Repeat with the other shapes.
I number each page of my class book with each student’s class number. Then, I glue a class list (which has each child’s name and number listed on it) inside the cover. This creates an instant table of contents. Students can look up their class number and find their page. :o)
