HOW TO PLAY
SMALL GROUP (2-6 Players) 31 cards. To play, give one card to each player and place remaining cards in a pile in the center. Each card has one,and only one, match to every other card on the deck. First player to find the match and Shout Out, gets to keep the card. Continue until all the cards are gone. Count each player's cards. The player with the most cards wins.
SOLO: Race the clock to see how fast you can find each match in the deck. Each card has one, and only one match. Take one card and leave the remaining cards in a pile, face up, on the table. Compare your card to the pile. When you find your match, Shout Out and take the card. Continue until the pile is gone. (Use a stopwatch to find your best time or a set a timer to 2 minutes and finish before time runs out)
CLASS or LARGE GROUP (up to 31 players) Bingo style: distribute one card to each player, along with 6 beans or markers. Cut out the squares on image page. Pull each square out of hat and call out the word. If the player has that word, they can mark it on their card. First one to cover all their words and SHOUT OUT wins!
FOREIGN LANGUAGE hint: Print out the image map for each student and have them write the words above the pictures to review. Then play along as listed above.

(31 images total, 6 images per card):
Circle, square, triangle, rectangle, heart, star, crescent in red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, black and brown. Some shapes are common objects like a stop sign, moon, ball and more.
Making the game is simple -- print, cut and play.
• Download here: My Purchases
• Print out front of cards (6 pages) Print in color or black and white. I like to use cardstock to increase durability. If they will be used frequently, then I also like to laminate.
• Print desired backing (2 options, choose either page 8 or 9)
• Cut: use 3” circle punch for circles. Use scissors or paper cutter for square shape.
Storage: There are many ways to store the game. I love the metal tins for circles. Jewelry boxes work great for the square. You can even “file” them away in a 3x5 index card box. Or use a hole punch in a corner and put them on a ring. Cellophane bags are so cute for giving as a gift.
