Your students will practice drawing their shapes on varying gradients of dashed lines before trying to draw them on their own. There is a space provided for extra practice to draw any shapes that need a little more work. They will also be asked to color a hexagon, rhombus and trapezoid. Then they will count to decide which groups have the least and which are equal. The second page is the assessment page. They will draw each of the shapes (circle, square, triangle and rectangle) before being asked to identify the hexagon, rhombus and trapezoid. The students may point to the shapes or circle them. They choose between the three in three different sections. This is good to have for Math Daily 3, Math Centers coupled with pattern blocks, morning work, or sub plans. The assessment page is nice for report cards and parent conferences.
