I created this independent math center to be a resource that students could use as they are learning about two dimensional shapes. This multi-sensory center allows students a visual representation of each shape. I created three levels of difficulty for each picture which helps teach that different size shapes still have the same name. The different size shapes also makes for easy differentiating! I like how these learning mats can be printed in color, laminated, and used over and over again. The children can also practice writing the numbers using dry erase markers on the laminated copies. I hope these mats prove to be a favorite!
Included in this resource:
-8 different shape pictures (Rectangle, Heart, Square, Rhombus, Hexagon, Circle, Trapezoid, and Triangle)
-3 different levels of difficulty of each picture (24 shape pictures total)
