Thanks for checking out this addition activity set!
Set up is simple: print on white cardstock, laminate (or use sheet protectors like I do), and gather some dry erase markers.
**Optional: you can also use these pages as classroom worksheets or homework practice!
Kindergartners are tasked with understanding the ins and outs of addition, including pictorial representations and equations within 10. I designed these addition practice pages for my students to use during math center time. They analyze each picture (i.e., 1 blue square and 7 purple ovals) and determine the numbers needed to complete the equation beneath it (1 + 7 = 8). Pictures and equations all wrapped up into one! Hooray!
All combinations for 2-10 are included, except for some +0 combinations. Also, each addition picture includes 2 parts that differ in both shape AND color so students can easily deconstruct the parts. Happy adding!
