Thanks for checking out this subtraction activity set!
Set up is simple: print on white cardstock, laminate (or use sheet protectors like I do), and gather some dry erase markers.
**Optional: you can also use these pages as classroom worksheets or homework practice!
Kindergartners are tasked with understanding the ins and outs of subtraction, including pictorial representations and equations within 10. I designed these subtraction practice pages for my students to use during math center time. They analyze each picture (i.e., 7 green moons with 3 of them X’d out) and determine the numbers needed to complete the equation beneath it (7 - 3 = 4). Pictures and equations all wrapped up into one! Hooray!
All subtraction equations from 1-10 are included. Each on each page, each subtraction picture differs in both shape AND color so students can easily focus on deconstructing the part being taken away from the whole. Happy subtracting!
