Use sharing sticks to manage interruptions during small group. Rather than students shouting out, they can express what they would like to say so that you and the other students at the table are able to see their ideas.
This is wonderful for students who are timid and don't share ideas often. It gives them a different way to start expressing their ideas. This is also a great tool to teach students about respectful talk and listening!
Simply print on card stock, laminate and hot glue to a popsicle stick or other stick you may want to use!
