This is a fun activity to use with the book, “It’s Mine!” by Leo Lionni. You could also use any book you prefer about sharing.
I then follow up with a discussion on sharing and complete this activity.
The students enjoy decorating their frog ponds, coloring and gluing on the frogs, and thinking of all sorts of items for their frogs to “share.”
They are so creative! They make frogs sharing flies and other items from the story, but also we’ve had frogs sharing toys, pizza, beach balls, you name it! My students really get into this lesson activity!
It’s so much fun to see all of the ideas that the kids come up with!
Afterward, they love sharing their wonderful creations with the group!
