Product Description
With an emphasis on the artistic process and a focus on drawing from life, this unit helps children to develop understandings in line, tone and value. Children following this planner will go through the process of collecting visual information using their sketchbooks and exploring techniques and media to construct a final piece which is unique to them. It could runs within a Sharing the Planet unit which has a focus on biodiversity, ecosystems, wildlife or the natural world.

There are 7 sessions in total, but realistically this unit constitutes about 8 weeks of teaching art.

Suitable for children aged 7 – 11
