These flash cards cover 26 different shark species with detailed illustrations. I leave the backs blank for students to research the different sharks and write down at least two unique facts about them. This works well with younger audiences into the intermediate. With first grade students I have them work on their phonics by labeling the shark's name with short sounds and long sounds. I have also used them to teach anatomy lessons by having students circle different parts like the tail, jaw, eyes, nose, dorsal fin, and various other parts. Feedback is always appreciated.
