This is a web quest that students can work individually on or in groups if computers are limited. I've even been able to have students use their phones to complete this activity if needed. Students track sharks in real time using a shark tracking website.
Students will be able to track from a variety of shark species and learn about when their shark was first tracked and how scientists first observed the shark. They can follow their shark as it swims through the ocean in search for food, warmer waters, etc.
This activity requires no prep and will engage your students!
