Set of nonfiction task cards all about sharks. There are 8 task cards that provide information about different kinds of sharks, shark attack statistics and an overview of sharks. The sharks included are: great white, lemon shark, bull shark, tiger shark, bull shark, and the black tip reef shark. There are 24 comprehension cards that cover the information on the task cards. A recording sheet and answer key are included. There is also a game board to use with the cards plus suggestions on using the cards as a center or scoot game. There are also writing wroksheets, graphic organizers, a word search and a fact/opinion cut and paste worksheet. The preview shows most of the pages of the file.
You can use these task cards in many ways:
Hang them around the room and have students walk around and read them/answer the questions
Fast finishers or individual practice
Whole group (display the cards on a document camera)
The comprehension questions, worksheets and writing activities can be answered directly from the task cards.
