Product Description
I use this activity as we begin to read the novel. As we read the first 2 chapters out loud, students fill in the worksheet with characters' names, and information about their personality, family, habits, hobbies, etc.

Before we get into the novel, I review the concept of stereotype and the class brainstorms some general stereotypes that are used when books/movies/tv tell stories about highschool.

I will revisit this worksheet at the half-way point in the novel and have the students assign stereotypes to each character.
