Use this craftivity to target speech and language with a variety of groups, learners, and abilities.
Pages 3-4: Leaf templates. Print on cardstock or construction paper. Cut out one for each student. Have students request which type of leaf they want to make using a variety of language concepts.
Page 5: Communication board for non-verbal students. Use for commenting, requesting, and/or labeling.
Pages 6-7: Sequencing – arrange the pictures on page 6 in the correct order on page 7. Put Velcro on the mat on page 7 for added stability.
Page 8-10: Vocabulary – use these visuals to discuss nouns and verbs associated with this craftivity and leaves/Fall.
Page 11: Wh- and semantics questions relating to Fall vocabulary.
