This is a 19 page phonemic awareness book companion based on the book Sheep in a Jeep by Nancy Shaw.

This packet contains the following four activities:

Pages 3-6: Recognizing Rhyme: Students listen to two words, and then state if the two words rhyme.
(cards and mats)

Pages 7-11: Generating Rhyme: Students are given a word, and are asked to state a rhyming word.
(cards and game mat)

Pages 12-15: Blending Monosyllable Words Onset-Rime: Students listen to an onset and a rime, and are asked to state the word they hear when the sounds are blended together.
(cards and mats)

Pages 16-19: Segmenting Words: Students listen to a word and state the sounds they hear.
(cards and game board)
