This worksheet provides a visual cue for students that have difficulty achieving a difference between the /sh/ and /s/ sounds. Have your student trace the line with either a finger, dot painter or marker while making a strong /sh/ or /s/ sound and finish the word by "stamping" a dot on the picture and producing "ine". The sliding line is thin for /s/ and thicker for /sh/ to provide a further cue. Sheets are excellent for therapy sessions or homework.
