This game is played in partners with one game board, game pieces, and two different crayons. All the pieces are face down or in a bag.
Student A takes a piece and does the math (converts the fraction or percent to a decimal). If Student B agrees that Student A did the math correctly, then Student A gets to put their initial on the matching decimal on the board.
There is strategy involved here though. Let's say that they drew 2/5 and they know that the decimal should be .4. There may be 2 places on the board which has .4. They get to decide which one they want to claim.
The goal is to either get part of the lightning bolt filled in horizontally with all of their initials or vertically. At any time their partner can block them though.
However, there are a couple of pieces which they will find are not on the board at all!!!! They got a Trap Piece and they lost their turn.
