By scanning these QR codes, your students will view 14 different resources - stories read aloud, songs, informational videos.
This is a great center (or something for your students to do when they finish early or as a reward!)! If you are lucky enough to have access to technology devices (ipods, ipads, tablets, etc.), then this center is for your students! You have to be able to download a FREE QR Scanner App.
I created a full color scene that has 14 active QR Codes. The codes reveal short stories (read or animated), informational videos, and songs. Your students can independently scan and then 'watch' the book~much like a listening center! More than one student can be engaged at once. This is also great for special needs children!
I was careful to make all of the links in this file 'kid safe.' The videos are derived from YouTube, but are funneled through the Safeshare site to ensure that students are not watching or seeing things they shouldn't be seeing. When the QR Code is scanned, the story pops up and the student pushes play.
Print the scene sheet and/or iPads with individual QR codes. This is a lot less expensive than buying each individual book and CD's for your listening center! It also provides a variety of stories, videos, and songs for your students to enjoy as they learn to tie their shoes.
A few of the FOURTEEN active QR code links are:
Shoes From Grandpa by Mem Fox,
Those Shoes by Maribeth Boeltsshoe,
and shoe tying videos.
Your students will have the opportunity to see all 14 of the QR codes contained in this file to enhance your shoe tying instruction.
Please note that every QR code works when any of my products are posted. If a video is removed from youtube, the link is broken. If you find a broken link in this or any of my products, please request that I replace the link in the questions tab for that product. I will find a new video, create a new QR code, and update the file as quickly as possible. Thanks! Amy
