What educators are saying
Description
This is the perfect Back to School activity! I am probably not the only one who is wishing all of my kids knew how to tie their shoes. I finally finished this pack that has two shoe tying songs, one that has a folk song melody and one that has a lsmrd melody, posters with words and music with guitar or ukulele chord letters, as well as a video of me singing and playing the song. It also includes a small craftivity kids can make to practice tying and to write about tying their shoes.
Includes:.
• Tips for parents and teachers for teaching shoe tying
• 2 songs for teaching children how to tie shoes
• Music for each song with ukulele/guitar chord letters
• Lyrics for display to help in learning the songs
• Rhyming words for the first song
• Music clips of me singing the songs with ukulele
• Video clips of someone singing and tying the shoes (link for download)
• A writing craftivity for kids to practice shoe tying and for taking home in two levels of difficulty (requires teacher prep but could also be done by students with help)
• 3 pages of the different levels in case you don't have time to prepare for the craftivity (these don't require you to do the craftivity)

PRINTING HELP- I have found that often my PDF files won’t print at school from my Mac. I go to the Macintosh HD icon and open it. Under Applications, open the Preview program. Then open up the file that you want to print. It works every time for me. Please contact me if you have any other questions or problems. seamonsfloatingdowntheriver@gmail.com
