This is a great little addition to any bugs or summer theme. And who doesn’t like to swat flies? The purpose of this activity is to identify or name letters (upper and/or lowercase) and numbers. This is great as a one-on-one activity or for small groups.
For this activity, print the activity off and cut it out. Laminate the cards.
Included in this product:
* 1 set of uppercase letters including digraphs sh, ch, & th
* 1 set of lowercase letters including digraphs sh, ch, & th
*1 set of numbers from 0-20
*1 set of cards with different numbers of flies from 0-10
1. Give the child a fly swatter (if you add a suction cup, the children can then pick up the fly) and tell them which card to pick up
2. Match the uppercase flies to the lower case files, or match up the numbers to the “How many flies?” cards
3.Have the child swat a fly, then have them name the card that they picked up.
