Stop the madness! Whether it’s March (or another month of the year) your students will have a lot of fun shooting hoops and proving their music knowledge with these basketball themed task cards. Students 1) look at the picture of the recorder fingering , 2) slide a basketball (with the correct letter/pitch) onto the basket then 3) select "submit." If their answer was correct the ball rebounds (bounces out). If the answer is correct the slide advances to the next question. Boom Cards make a great station for your learning centers (use with iPads, Chromebooks or on your SmartBoards), as work for early finishers and/or for differentiation, for assigning a deck as "homework" and/or as part of your blizzard bag work. They're also an easy "test" assessment that require no printing!:)
This eight game bundle of digital task cards (in an interactive game format) asks for students to identify: 1. B-A-G by letter name, 2. B-A-G by note on the staff, 3. B-A-G-E-D by letter name, 4. B-A-G-E-D by note on the staff, 5. B-A-G-E-D-F# by letter name. 6. B-A-G-E-D-F# by note on the staff, 7. B-A-G-E-D-F#-C'-D' by letter name, 8.B-A-G-E-D-F#-C'-D' by note on the staff and ten task cards are provided in each set.
One of the wonderful things about Boom cards is that all of your students can work on their own set independently! They get instant feedback (whether the answer is correct or incorrect) and you get a report (filled with data that tells you worked on which set, how long they spent on each card, how many cards they finished and how many correct/incorrect answers they gave. The latter allows you to see what the student may have been thinking and/or how they interpreted their answer.
