Learning about money and generalizing it to real-world activities, such as shopping, is a great skill for our students to learn. In my special education class, each Friday we open a "store" for math centers where students can practice just that! Students take these pre-made shopping lists (match the toy fruits and vegetables we have in our room) and use the price tags to help them know how much they will need to spend. They then use our toy cash register to complete the task!
There are two different versions of price tags: a set with numerals and another set with pictures of dollars for students who benefit from additional support. Cut out and laminate these pieces for repeated use!
I hope you find this set of visuals fun and helpful! Happy shopping!
