Description

These Boom Cards are exactly what you need for distance/at home learning. These FREE digital task cards feature short vowel CVC build a word activities (short a). This product is an engaging, interactive, and self-checking digital game! These boom cards are a FUN and engaging way for your students to practise their phonics.

The deck has 20 cards. There are two types of cards. For the first 10 cards, students look at the picture and drag and drop the sounds to complete the words (for example: they will drag 'at' to the letter 'c' to make 'cat'). For the next 10 cards, students look at the picture and drag and drop the letters to make the word (for example, the letters c-a-t will be jumbled and need to be put in order).

The focus of this boom decks is short vowels -

  • Short A - cat, pan, map, bag, tap, nap, bat, mad, hat, cap

Boom cards are self grading exercises on the Boom Learning website. Students are assessed on their knowledge in a fun and engaging way (Boom Cards are like a game). They are interactive and students click, drag, drop, or type in order to show the answer. These Boom Cards are an awesome way to assess your student's CVC knowledge. They can be fun and engaging Literacy Centers which you can use with your classroom technology, such as iPads, computers, and interactive whiteboards. Best of all? There is NO printing, cutting, or laminating!

What happens when you download?
