Students watch The Fog of War at the link below, and then create a short speech based on a war we have discussed in class using at least one of the lessons from The Fog of War. Students begin to understand why many wars start and how the lessons from the movie could possibly help us prevent future wars. We also reference these lessons for the rest of the year, discussing alternate possibilities of any historical situation/event. Students also show comprehension of one war in particular and the people they are speaking to.
- Description and rubric for short speech
- Word document for ease of changing based on the course
