Product Description

Each Monday morning, I post a short story for my students to read and discussion questions for my students to answer in a response paper. These responses are always due the following Sunday (Short Story Sunday).

I assign Roald Dahl's "Lamb to the Slaughter" during the week that we discuss Puritan religion, the Salem witchcraft trials, and the relationship between power and gender in colonial Puritan societies.

This upload contains:

1. Short Story Sunday Instructions

2. Roald Dahl's "Lamb to the Slaughter

3. Two discussion questions for the students over the reading
