Here is a two page peer-editing sheet to accompany my Short Story Task: Write an Intro or Alternative Ending. Students trade their drafts with two other students in class and have them fill out this peer-editing document and submit to teacher along with final copy.
This ensures that students include all essential components of the task, and makes students reflect on their skills as writers. Peer-editing is a key step in the writing process. Students consistently reach a higher achievement level after peer-editing.
