As students read their short stories to the class their peer need to be engaged in learning to give positive feedback. I would have the students turn the forms into you and then you can read aloud only those comments which would build the student's confidence while at the same time giving direction for improving their work.

This exercise will help the listeners pay attention, listen with a critical ear, and try to understand the theme of the story.
