CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RF.K.2.D: Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.

This product has enough picture/word cards to make two paint sticks of each short vowel. You can get the paint sticks from any paint store for free...I just happened to snag mine from Home Depot. If there are two sizes, grab the taller ones.
Put velcro down the front of the paint stick (I do some on both sides to fit 12 cards, but you could make 2 per vowel sound if you want). Print, laminate, and cut the short vowel word cards and headers (hot glue to the tops of the paint sticks). Then just put velcro on the back side of the short vowel cards and you're ready to roll!
This is, by far, my MOST POPULAR word work center. I also just sent some home with my kids that still don't know all their letter sounds...they were THRILLED to be able to take these home and practice them.
Please don't hesitate whatsoever to ask if you have any questions or concerns.....I'm more than happy to help in any way I can.
