Activity 1: There are three different options to
differentiate the activity. Students choose a card and
fill in the missing letter or
Activity2: Students choose a picture card and place it
in the top box. Then they write each letter sound in the
three boxes below and blend the word together.
Activity 3: Students use a paper clip and spin to find the
beginning and ending sound for the CVC word. They
write the word in the box below. Then have them read
it and determine if it is a real or nonsense word.
Record it on the chart on the second sheet.
