Here are a few ways to utilize these sentences:
Laminate each page and cut the sentences apart. Put each sentence in a ziplock bag/envelope. The students will unscramble one sentence at a time and rewrite the sentence on the recording sheet.
Copy the sentence page and a recording sheet for each student. The students will cut apart the sentence, rearrange to make a sentence and glue them on the recording sheet.

Students can spell the word for each picture and circle or highlight the short vowel in the word they spelled.
