Looking for a way to review short vowel sounds?? This packet includes 20 short vowel review cards. Students simply look at each picture, say the picture name, and then decide which short vowel it is.
How to use this product:
When using this product you will have the choice of using it in 1 of 3 ways. Read below for a description of each way.
** You will need to have a tablet or iPad as well as a QR code scanner app. I have always used a free version from the iTunes store. **
The first way this product could be used would be to use it as a sort. I have clothes pins labeled with the vowel sounds and the students clip the card onto the correct clip. Once they have them all clipped, they then scan the QR code for each vowel sound to check their answers.
The second way this product could be used is a write the room activity. I hang the cards up around the room and the students travel to answer each question. Once they have all of their answers recorded, they can use the answer key to self check their answers.
Lastly, this can be used an independent literacy center. As mentioned above, students would answer each question on their recording sheet and then use the answer key. Students will then self check their responses.
