Short Vowel Word Work for the Frugal Teacher - BUNDLE

Word Work for the Frugal Teacher was developed out of necessity for my first graders. I run a Daily 5 structure in my classroom, and I am always looking for easy, low cost activities that are developmentally appropriate. Although my students complete word study using the Words Their Way program, I still needed a way to practice the grade level content. I didn’t want to change out activities every week and I wanted the structure to be the same so I didn’t have to teach new stations each week. This is when Word Work for the Frugal Teacher was born. Like the activities for my differentiated word work stations, the activities stay the same but the word focus changes. Each week, the content to practice changes, but the activities stay the same. Children will have fun with “Write the Room”, “Word Puzzlers,” “Stamp It”, “Magnetic Letters” and so much more. Most of the items you already have in your classroom! There are a few activities to print and laminate, but you will only have to complete this task once a year! I hope you and your students enjoy this as much as my students do!
