The Make, Take & Teach All About Short Vowels! activity is ideal for both small group instruction and literacy centers. There are two ways you can use these short vowel pages. If you have dry erase pockets (can be purchased online, at teacher supply stores or sometimes at Walmart) simply slide a page in the pocket and have the student write a beginning sound or short vowel to make the word. Wipe the pocket clean and use over and over again. Letter tiles are also included in this file just in case you don't have access to the pockets. Students place the correct letter tile in the square to create the word. There are 16 differentiated vowel pages.
